Storing Dam

• Decide whether to create custom door dams per order or maintain an inventory that can be customized at the time of sale.
• Protect the weather stripping on each dam component to ensure durability.
• Use 4- to 5-inch sections of parting bead as spacers to prevent the weather stripping from resting against other components during storage.
• Secure each spacer to the dam component using Velcro:
  • Remove the spacers when the dam is ready for use and store them separately.
  • Reattach the spacers when the dam is no longer in use and ready for storage.
• Ensure that no weather stripping faces outward during storage to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.
